Prezi – Why the Best Presentation ever

When I first saw Prezi I was impressed, I nearly shouted wow! I discovered it at the ELT Conference 2009 in Bratislava where Jamie Keddie as a Teacher Trainer presented with it.

I have got in on the ground floor on that day. I have immediately started to “play” with this online tool and took advantage of it for my own presentation. It was incredible I could make excellent, creative and simple presentations in it with no effort at all. And have a fun at the same time.

How they describe Prezi? Just like this, at this TEDx Talk: “It’s PowerPoint that makes you sick.”

And that is something you have to be careful with. If you use too many of its special effects, like the man in this video, your audience could become rather sea sick.

Prezi offers so much and it is down to your own creativity to decide how you handle it. But let me start from the beginning. This Prezi presentation was among my first ones.
What I have learned from Prezi?
Firstly, it is a tool that allows you to show a presentation in a “non-linear” way.  You can zoom in on any picture, symbol, chart or any piece of text at random. It is very different from programs like Power Point which tend to think in a linear way, one slide after another. With Prezi you can focus on things as they come up. This means they will respond to your audience and give them a more interactive presentation.

Secondly, it discourages the writing of slides full of text. Because, with excessive text you can start to feel that you damaging your creativity. As the known quotation says “One picture is worth a thousand words” Your slides will be full of visual aids, you will present with greater effect than can be achived by your audience simply reading slides.

Prezi will make you a greater presenter enthused with confidence and charisma. Standing on a stage, with a Prezi presentation behind you, it will not be just another presentation done with slide after slide. It is going to be a strong story done by you on your topic, with your preferred pictures, your template and background colours.  Your presentations will be full of impact and memorable.

That is why I do what I love, I help to create these stories. I train with Prezi to help you to become a greater presenter for your company. I hope, you will give Prezi a try out so that you may experience what Prezi can do for you.

Any question? I am ready to help, to order your consultation or training at your company anywhere in Europe. I am only a click away.
